The 154 Surtout and have communicated with the Astronomer Royal without delay.
2. As the warrant of Derby was directed, the Astronomer Royal has agreed that on a convenient day, Friday, March 2nd, he will attend at the Royal Observatory.
3. I shall have the honour of reporting myself at Your office the 1th of March, and shall take the opportunity of calling upon the Crown Agents for the Colonies regarding the adjustments for Mr. Brandon's letter.
4. As cautioned by You in Your letter of the 29th of January, I shall communicate with the Crown Agents for the Colonies, Downing Street, from the 1st April 1885, regarding drawing salary.
5. With reference to the selection of a Clerk for the Hong Kong Observatory, I had the honour in my letter of the 12th inst. to furnish a memorandum of the qualifications required for the post in accordance with the Earl of Derby's wishes, as mentioned in Mr. Bramston's letter of the 8th inst.
